A tavern game from the world of The Dragon Portal by Jamie A. Waters
Win hands, earn reputation, unlock new taverns, and draw familiar faces from Aeslion to the table. Every tavern has secrets. Every favor has a cost.
For the best experience, use a regular browser tab. Private/Incognito mode may not save your tavern progress.
Captain’s Log — Akros
I spent the evening in a tavern along the lower docks.
The locals favor a game played with bone tokens. Simple at a glance, but less so once the coins are on the table.
In Aeslion, taverns are never only taverns. Listen long enough, and every table starts giving away secrets.
If you’re new to the table, you may want Sabine's guidance.
Or you can learn the way I did.
— Malek
You made it through your first hand, but the night isn’t over.
Stay at the table long enough, and you’ll start to understand how it works— the taverns, the people, and what drives them.
Some of my companions may find their way to you.
If you need guidance, ask. I’ll give it.
But understand this— magic always has a cost. And that debt will be yours to carry.
